As a result of the nature of the Tri-plex Platform architecture, it is inherently scalable and modular. Each VIP is typically identical to the other VIPs in the array. Each Tri-plex Platform contains at least two VIPs but can contain many more, depending upon the processing needs of the carrier.

Other components of the platform also scale gracefully as needed. For example, as long as there is enough drive space available, there is no limit to the number of subscribers supported.
